How big?

I have no idea how big the ponys i ride at my rs are. I'm 5.2' and normally normally the ponys withers are about the same hight how big would that make them?

Well there are 4" in a hand, so asuming your guestimation's about right that would make them 15.2, but that would be if they were level with the very top of your head, you'd probably need to take at least 1hh off if their whithers are within your site line, I'd be guessing then you'd probably be talking 14.2hh.

Thanx that is what i ment buy the head thing sorry but now i no i'm fine but would i still be able to ride a 15hh?

There's loads of post around about how big/small someone is for a hose, but its a case of whatever you feel comfortable with and is comfortable with you.
I'm 5ft 6 and happily ride anything between a 13.2hh exmoor cross to a 18.2hh shire cross!!

Im 5ft 2 and Captains height is 14 2hh. My nose is about level with his withers. This is how I measure when I was looking for a 14 2hh for my friends daughter. I am sure people would think I was weird when I pojnted from my nose to the horses withers.:rolleyes:
