Can anyone recommend which of the Tellington Jones books they think is the best or what is the difference between the various books?

I'm looking for the practical, 'how to', rather than the theory behind the methods .....:)

Its difficult buying them from Ebay when you cant compare them and we dont have a great selection at saddlery or book shops that I can find here in New Zealand.

Thanks!

Cannot really recommend any books, but have you visited the website? I found it was very informative on the basics!

I borrowed my friend's copy of:

Improve Your Horse's Well-Being: A Step-by-Step Guide to TTouch and TTEAM Training

and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

It is very practical - a short introduction to the method, followed by pages of practical "how to" information. It's usually one exercise or Ttouch per double page spread with pictures and supporting text. The book covers both the Ttouches and the Tteam work so it's all there in one place.

Well worth getting a copy if you find one :)

I also really like Lindas book - Lets Ride! It is a book for children but it is such a simple straight forward book which talks you through all the TTouches but also then how TTEAM can be put into practice in the the saddle. This is one of my favourites!

Now what does that say about me!!!!!:D

Improve Your Horses Wellbeing is a definite great 'how to' book, easy to read and follow. You can get this on Amazon.

Take a look at www.tellingtontouch.com which is Linda's TTEAM website. Loads of info on there.
Also www.ttouchtteam.co.uk which is our UK TTEAM site, loads to interest you on there as well.

I'm training to be a TTEAM Practitioner so am really glad to know you are interested.
