Arab tails

As i was brushing my big boy 2day i was wondering if your allowed 2 cut their tails.He is an anglo arab so had a floaty tail but i read that you r only allowed to pull them not bluntly cut them.
Is this right?

Anglos can have pulled and "banged" tails, and they look tidier if they are trimmed correctly. Remember to put an arm under his tail to set it at the correct height as when he is moving, or you will end up being too long, or too short. You are not allowed to pull a pure bred's tail, or mane, and I can't even tidy up the scraggy bits!!! Really annoying, as is the current fashion for taking off thetop 5 inches of mane, it looks ridiculous!
