That's too bad :o
That's what was throwing me off about the trekkers- the older style doesn't look realistic enough for me, but I'm one of the ones that just loves the aesthetic of english saddles. I'm set on (eventually, way down the road) buying an Ansur. I've got to get the horse first though

WOW! That's an awesome looking saddle. I think Ansurs are hideous, and I don't like the Heather Moffett saddles either, I really like this one! Do they sell them in the U.S.?

im sure there would be a dealer somewhere in the us, if not you can order them direct from germany.
i must say i have 2 ansur saddles and the new trekker has nothing on them! especially not my konklusion.

Really? So far they are the only treeless saddles that don't look like treeless saddles to me. And to be honest, IMO, english saddles are gorgeous :) I don't like the look of weird saddle flaps and odd shapes. Or the highly unusual colors seen in some.
But, I've lost the part of me that likes highly unusual things- I'm into more class at the moment, so the Ansur saddles are up there in my books.

I love the idea of the treeless saddle, if they'd been about years ago whenI got my saddle for my sec D I definitely would've tried one. The only thing that does put me off is how they look. I can see that they're definitely beginning to look more traditional (by which I mean classic English style - I've got the most gorgeous whp saddle so you'll get the idea of what I like lol!!) but I still think they look lie cheap synthetic saddles. Fingers crossed they'll develop a more classic English style (hope that makes sense) as I really think that'll be when they take the market by storm.
