Well, as i posted in one of my other posts, i had a great ride last weekend at the Dressage show with a score of 67.5%. :D . Very pleased. Yesterday, i went to yet another Dressage schooling show, in which it was FREEZING!!! But at least it was only while we were schooling. Honestly, Toby and i were almost blown away. If a 16.3hh Plump Appendix QH is drifting while the wind is hitting us from the side, then i think we could have ended up in Oz with Dorothy and Toto!!
Besides the wonderful wind, we rode our Intro B test, which i only had like less than a week to memorize. We were scored under a farely harsh judge, according to RI. She gave us a 63.33%!!! Our score sheet came back full of 6's and 7's. I was very happy.
What does this mean? It means that the those who said "Toby isnt a Dressage horse and cant do it" (none of you btw), this just goes to show HE CAN!!! I am so proud of my big boy. He was so nosey at the show too, i would go into the trailer to just get a brush, and he would shift himself around to make sure i wasnt leaving him. Poor soul. LOL.

So yes, if my 16.3hh Appendix QH, 16yo, has done English Pleasure, western pleasure, lessons, and was Champion in Eng.Pls. last year, can do dressage and get good scores (i know not great, but they are to me!), well hot dog i think just about any horse can! And mind you, he doesnt have the worlds most "dressagey" movement, lol.

Just wanted to share!! :D
