Hi all. Does anyone know where i can find a list of which moves can be done in elementary Freestyle Dressage and Novice Freestyle Dressage? Ive looked threw the rules on the BrittishDressage.co.uk site (thanks guys on the Dressage Test and Rules Thread) but cant find anything on which moves are legal and which moves are illegal. :(

The test has change this year, you need to get a copy of the requirements form BD - can be purchased on-line now.
Off the top of my head though:
Required moves are:
Medium walk
leg yield in trot both ways
working trot
medium trot
?collected trot
working canter
medium canter
counter canter both ways
change of leg thro' trot - may have been changed to simple change, not sure.
can't remember if they have put free walk in now as a required, but that and extended walk are optional.
Other optionals - basically anything that is in a current elementary, novice or prelim test.
quarter walk pirouettes
collected canter
rein back
10m circles in trot and canter
simple change if not in required moves

The basic rule is that any movement that is included in the Novice tests are permitted for Novice Freestlye, similarly for Elementary. Some movements are penalised by two marks if you use them.
This is straight from the BD Magazine
Novice Freestyle
Movements that are not compulsory but may be used to enhance choreography mark:
give and retake the reins
rein back
change of leg through trot
counter canter.
Penalised Movements:
lateral work
simple changes
walk pirouettes
Elementary Freestyle
Movements that are not compulsory but may be used to enhance choreography mark:
counter canter
rein back
stretching in trot and canter
large walk pirouettes
Penalised Movements:
shoulder in
half pass
travers.
You do need a copy of the tests because they tell you the distances that each movement is expected to be performed for.
