i have a harness for susie, its a pony size, but everything seems too big. the girth is done up on the tightest hole and is still a bit loose, and everything is done up on the tighest hole.
we want to get her another harness, but would she fit into a shetland size?
shes is a 12hh section a.

Qould defintnly think so. Shylo is a very big shetland (not much smaller than a welsh A) and the shetland harness is on the tighter fittings. Still room left, but would defintitly fit a larger pony.
Don't know what one you got, but there's some really nice synthetic one's on ebay. Shylo's was only £65 (inc p&p) but I'm really impressed. By WorldBeater I think.

Unless you have harness made to measure it is a nightmare getting all the bits to fit properly,
I found some cheap harness is a nightmare, they seem to be making it for 42 inch mega nags. Not all Shetlands can fill that description.
What make was it? I would like to bet my home made harness that fits my biggest Shetland would fit a Welsh A well enough.
