i am a girl and nearly 20 , i'll be showing little man, who is small and coloured , what is the best hat for me to ware that wont cost the eart? Is a bowler wrong? or could i just plait my hair and put a bow in it ?

appoligise if i have asked this before?

bowler is for men only. you can wear a velvet riding hat or a trilby/cowboy style.
i have a beagler, a velvet hat with no straps and that is smaller and neater than a riding standard one.

They still look posh although there cheaper than most so arn't as good quality (the velvet e.t.c) as 'better' makes e.g. charles owen and you would need to shop of the ribbon tails (maybe even replace the ribbon) but I've seen pictures of people wearing them and they do look ok :)
