I'd love to train my horse in western riding, but I don't know where to start. I can't find any instructors who live anywhere near me and the one local western clinic which used to be on every couple of months seems to have disappeared without trace. Can anyone recommend any good books/ videos? I've heard of one about western training english horses but I can't find it anywhere. Thanks

Where are you located? Pat Parelli or John Lyons among others puts out some really good videos. You should be able to find them with a search on the internet. Come to Texas and I'll give you western lessons! :) Happy Trails!
