Remember when I broke Rhi into drive we had a spate of going backwards till I used the driving whip to push her forward.
Well Shada05's horse decides that backwards is fun. Even when using the whip he thinks backwards is a good game. He does not do it all the time. I've told Laura to do lots of downward walk to halt and walk on with him. Anything else to stop him from going backwards or is it just time?
he reminds me a lot of Rhi when I first drove her and so going to use some of the methods I used on her to help him i.e Standing still clicker training seemed to work with Rhi so hoping it works with Shada.
If you see her post its six years since he was driven but did really well considering. he is not frightened of harness or vehicle. No prob long reining in the traffic once you have got him to move forward.
