ive now got a beautiful green caldene southwold hacking jacket (prefered the green on me). im planning on doing a bit of in-hand showing this year, so on hot days would prefer a waistcoat.
i have a purple tie i will be wearing with my chestnut tb (riding horse) and i have a blue silk tie i may use with the others (black section d and bright orange chestnut idxtb (hunter)). Do you think a green waistcoat? or a more traditional canary/gold type colour?
thanks

canary/gold as you will be able to wear it for all your horses and it wont look silly with a purple tie they are also easier to get hold of

The only thing I would watch with a pale waistcoat is how it goes with beige trousers for the sec D, as you should be wearing light trousers for his legs.

What colour is your shirt?

Edited to say, Pretty Ponies do a purple waistcoat ;)
