Showing wear...help!

I'm hoping to enter Bailey in some local 'fun' showing classes...most handsome gelding, best mane and tail etc. What should I wear?! He's a TBx so would I have to wear a black jacket or would my tweed be ok? I have a nice navy show hat with leather harness, cream breeches and black long boots. What else?

Also, what tack can I put on him? He has a nice brown numnah (nuu-med) that is barely noticeable under his saddle, so I thought this would be ok. Would a small loose ring snaffle and cavesson be ok?

Tweed jacket, brown leather gloves, cream shirt and a discreetly patterned tie. Hair in a bun, and carry a cane. For ridden wear your breeches and long boots with spurs (unless rules state otherwise) and for inhand trousers and smart footwear. Dark trousers for light legs, light trousers for dark legs.

If it's just inhand a cavasson bridle is easier, but for ridden a pelham/double with two reins looks better. The bridle should be flat, plain and workmanlike. If you do riding horse classes he'll need a bling browband. Numnah sounds fine.

Have you got a photo? I'm just guessing on him being a hunter type, but he might be something else. :)

My photos are too big, I've just tried to put them on! I'll have to describe him instead (oooh or he's on the Dermafas webstite/testamonials). He's a TBx something native. He doesn't have a big shaggy native coat but he does have a bit more substance than a pure TB. He does have a flat browband but the hunter cavesson is too much for his face. He would definitely suit a 'bling' browband! I'm off to shop for one now!
