I'm so excited so everyone gets to hear it ;)

I've gone from riding maybe once a year as a child to taking dressage lessons as an adult to learning a bit of jumping to owning my own horses and now ...

My own horse and I have a private instructor to teach us Dressage starting Tuesday. We have no idea what kind of horse he is but he's big and black and I cannot wait to see photos of him done up with dressage gear achieving some sort of frame.

Yay!

For fun here's a photo of him meeting his new pasture mates last September when I bought him. It's kind of misleading as he rarely stands like that, but it sure is impressive when he does!

I love Black horses their coats really shine. He has a lovely presence. Updates needed with plenty of pictures.

Lately Black Beauty is turning into Bay Beauty. Heh his winter coat is all faded and dirty. I can't wait for them to shed out, it seems to have slowed to a crawl now.
