anyone found a good make for the larger boobed amongst us :)
am short (5ft1) and size 10 bottoms but large chest and since I cant afford a boob reduction and keep the horses, I am trying to find a comfortable protector.
Do you think the zip up ones are better?

Racesafe are great, so comfortable. They come in a good range of sizez and can be made to measure.

Large Champion Cobra accomodates me (40"), they do an XL too (it has laces at the side to adjust);)

I feel your pain, miggy! I have the tipperary eventer model. The best part is the custom colors but I have found mine to be quite acceptable (I don't really find any of them comfy and would much prefer to wrap myself and my pony in bubble wrap ;) ). Zip front, lacing on the sides makes it fairly adjustable.

I've got a racesafe too, very comfy - and they make to measure very cheaply too. I got a large one with a short back from treehouse and then when it arrived and didn't actually fit properly took it to my local tack shop who measured it and got racesafe to adjust it for me.

Another vote for racesafe.(RS 2000 one) I found their sizing quite generous and the laces up the side means you can tighten or loosen it where you need to.

I also got the large with a short back from Treehouse. Fortunately, it was a good fit for me and I found their service very good :)

Treehouse were great, I stupidly didn't measure myself and ordered one that thought would fit, when it very obviously didn't I rang them up and we had a chat and she found one for me, I'd definitely use them again it was just easier to take it to the local tack shop to get measured.

They are really nice aren't they? Discussing it with the woman there, we couldn't decide between two sizes, so she sent one out for me to try (the L short) and said she wouldn't charge me until we established which one! How cool is that?!

I have a medium short Racesafe, and found it far more comfortable than I must admit I'd expected on a recent 15mile ride. If you live anywhere near Ingatestone tack shop, they will fit it for you. You do feel a bit stupid as they make you sit on a saddle horse, while they adjust it, but it is very effective.:)
