I measured Charlie's leg bone yesterday it's just over 8 inches. So his nick name skinny little TB legs suits him quite well

Anyone else measured thier horses legs? If you have ahorse that has skinny legs like mine do you do anything to take extra care? I was always told it's easier for TB's to break legs

That's funny, I measured my mare's bone on Tuesday for the first time (I've only owned her four years hee hee). She's a 15.1 cob/connemara with 9.5 inches of bone, does anyone know what maximum weight she could carry - I'm guessing about 13 or 14 stone? I don't weigh this much, I hasten to add!!! :o
