HQ(naked) and grooming partner(clothed) in relaxed mode. The dear chestnut in the foreground of last pic is 33 years young.

Isn't it great to have come through the long, cold winter?

What gorgeous pics LD:D

Isn't HQ a gorgeous girl. I havn't seen a photo of her before (I don't think:confused: )

She looks in great condition.

Don't you just love to see them mutually grooming?

Lovely elderly horse too - really doesn't look that old:eek:

We need a few photos of you in the saddle, girlie!

Oh LD, she is still just absolutely adorable! How do you keep her white bits so white???

Love the chestnut... "What about MEEEEE???"

She surely is a lovely girl LD, and yes it is so pleasant to be out of the winter - at long long last.

Have a great spring

Lovely pics. Don't you just itch to take off that other horses rug so they can have a proper groom together?

Oh how lovely, they look like really good buddies! Isn't it nice to be able to see nekkid horses at last, I was beginning to forget what my mare looks like underneath her rug!

Thanks everyone for your nice comments about the Girls. Harlequin is in with the laminitics at the mo, in a less grassy field; she's very well 'upholstered', and so she's having time off from the new turnout, which is too yummy at present! I'm glad she's found someone to be pals with, as she was missing the crowd, and looked very cross at first:rolleyes:

Yes, it is lovely to see the 'nekked ' bods! On a more worrisome note, tho', all the coloured horses are very evident (did you see recent article on theft in H+H?), but if HQ wears a rug, she looks like a bay. So I've been wrapping her up at night. Perhaps I'm being over-cautious.

No I don't read H+Hound. Help, my mare is coloured and she's in a field 24/7 which hasn't got brilliant security

Awww, she looks very happy and relaxed LD :D Lovely pics :)

Edited: may sound really naieve but how do you go about stealing a horse without being noticed? I understand those that are in the middle of nowhere can be loaded up in minutes and gone, but some have been stolen from under their owners noses in this area in the past... shocking!

Its springtime and watching horses groom and graze is just so peaceful. HQ looks very healthy coming out of Winter and such a super shine. LD - I have a piccy of 2 ponies blissfully in love if I may post on here please?? :)

On the subject of stolen horses. I just hope that I never ever lose either of my horses to merciless thugs. My life would not be worth living.:(

I'm thinking of having hair extensions for myself done with HQ's tail as she'll not miss a few strands, and I've got thin, fine hair; always wanted a thick ponytail:D

Her 'white bits' are not in fact- why d'you think she's so far back in the pic?;) The sun does wonders in photos!!! When I pluck up the nerve, I'll bath her. Don't want to tempt fate whilst things are going more smoothly.

Cheers for all your kind comments :) :) :)
