As you can see from the title, my lovely two day a week sharer has had to give up for health reasons. :( Bless her, she was crying when she told me.:(
Its such a shame as she was wonderful with Sennie, absolutely adored him, and I knew I could trust her completely.
So.. back to the grindstone and a new search for a new rider friend for him. I have advertised in the New Rider classifieds, but if anyone knows of anyone... please pm me.

Hope you find someone soon Caz. I have the opposite problem. I have a lovely girl who has been riding Misty once a week since January. I really only wanted somebody for a couple of months but she's fallen completely in love with Misty and wants to take her to shows. I don't have the heart to say no! This girl also has a part-loan for three days a week, has weekly lessons at the local RS and works full-time. Don't mind too much as she's really nice but its a bit limiting at times when I want to do my own thing.

Thanks W'jit.:D Hope so.
Hmm. yes it can be difficult Ann I agree. I did have to bite my lip sometimes when it was a gorgeous day and I wanted to ride, but my job takes me all over and much as I love him, a full time horse is just too much. I just can't give him all the riding he needs. So a sharer who adored him, but was prepared to defer to me in every particular (fussy c@w that I am where he's concerned) was perfect. I did offer Richard (OH) the chance, but he said "no".. can't imagine why.

Oh that's a shame, especially as it was working out for you both. Hope you find someone suitable soon. :) Have you tried the www.horses2000.co.uk website as well as NR? They've got popular share/loan section, it might be worth giving it a go

I hope you find someone that will suit Sennie. What a shame that she has to give up. I would be upset as well. A life without horses is a dull one. :(

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that, that's harsh for both of you :(
Will she be able to continue until you've found a new sharer or will your OH have to be on duty in your absence?

Hi Cazrider
One of my friends is looking for a share and lives in Chelmsford. I've text her your details and she may get in touch!

Great. Thanks Nelle.:)
It's really important I find the right person. He's too much of a love to risk. I have had a response from a pair of sisters, so I'll keep you all posted.
We've got a Handy Pony competition, barbecue and Easter egg hunt on our yard later today which should be fun.;) :)

I would cry if I had to give him up too, he must be hard to part with.
Good luck finding another trustworthy sharer :)
