hi all. today i got my friend to make a video for you to critique please. there are three fences and there all at 1m in the video but after we put them upto 1.05m. Fleur was extremely forward going today and was going far too fast. When she came to the second fence on the video you can actually see her hesitate

I think a. i anticipate the fence and fold too early and b. my hands need to be a little higher. Could you please point out anything else for me thanks :) Also do you think fleur would be capable of jumping BN, please be honest because right now i'm a little unsure. Thankyou all comments appreciated :D Natxxx

Your horse looks good, a little fast but very eager which is what you want. My only suggestion is that you should try taking your leg back so it's more under your body instead of in front. This will make you look more balanced and will really make you secure in the saddle. You both look great! Your horse is adorable!

I think you should be fine for BN, although Im taking this from just one video. Make sure you have complete control of the speed and can slow right down if you want to, as tighter corners will need to be taken just a tad slower :) . How high is she? Would she be jumping in pony or horse classes?

How big is the intermediate on that vid??
I would say yes you could do BN, if you're worried try one on a ticket before shelling out to register!!
If you're happily doing 2ft 9 unaff BN should be fine.

Apart fomr what you;ve said, i'd jsut wrok on Slowing down, and collecting that canter, BN wont be too difficult, but there will be corners and you'll want a good straight line to each fence, so will need a steady canter to each fence, try just doing some grid work to get her concentrating, and slowing down a bit between fences...
good luck!

you will be absolutly fine jumping BN you could also do some qualifiers and go to scope festival its a real good week and its something that u look more than capable of and you have got the facilities to get the right training for. also i think that you should just sit back a bit more and wait for the fence to come to you. you look great together.
