Heat lumps

Toby has got a couple of little bumps on the skin round his girth area. They look like little insect bites, but the saddler commented on them a little while ago, saying they were probably where he had sweated under his girth (in the winter too). I use a girth sleeve to avoid girth galls.

The saddler said not to worry, but one has now got bigger, and if they are sweat related, I am worried they may get worse in the summer months. They certainly don't trouble him at all.

Has anyone had this problem, or have any advice for how to treat them?
