Had a lovely session with Pumpkin this morning, and he absolutely made my day by coming over to me when he saw me approach the field. He's NEVER done that before! :D :D :D Small things amuse small minds and all that, but surely that means he loves me :D

I've come over all brave and my planned hack tomorrow will (hopefully unless I chicken out in the meantime) involve... wait for it..... CANTERING!!! My idea is that a good lively hack may wake Plumps up a bit and make his realise there's more to life than being a plod. Probably won't work, he's a plod through and through, but anyway, thought I'd try ;)

Anyway, he stood very patiently while I fiddled and faffed...

He's GORGEOUS!! Of course it means he loves you otherwise he'd stay put. You'll have a blast on your hack, canter and all. It does wonders for your confidence. Makes you feel as if you can do anything. Good luck and don't you dare chicken out!!

He is pretty much the perfect horse isn't he! Lovely to have that kind of trust. I also notice there's some competition for Whatanejit in the tail plaiting department? ;)
Me and Tanyajayne have been inspired - we're going to have a "tart up our nags" day (our yards are close together) with a pub lunch in between. Maybe our tail plaiting skills will turn out to rival both of you :D (Probably depends which horse gets done before the lunch and which is done after  ) :D
You're due good weather for your hack. My YO says it could reach 22-23 deg tomorrow! Anyway we will indeed want piccies so make sure you take a camera!

He's beautiful -- a real pyjama-case of a horse. And he looks in such good condition too. I love his woolly legs. He looks like he'd have a stately sort of canter -- best of luck for the hack!

He's so beautiful, what a great back end! The stable looks so nice. I've loved my mare from the moment I got her, a year ago, but it took almost the whole year before I really felt truly bonded to her - where she looks happy to see me and I feel like we really connect. It's wonderful, right?!

A truly yummy horse - and the colour of the stables complements his colouring so well , were they built specially? You lucky person to have such a lovely animal coming to greet you :D
