I must simply be mad! Or slightly crazy. Unaffiliated dressage, saturday coming, if there isn't enough people it will be cancelled. So I put my name down :D haha I know fine well i'll do rubbish and i dont have a clue how i'm going to learn the test! Its prelim 18 and i've got a copy but still...

Oooh i must me mad. My pony has no bend, i cant ride properly and i have just 7 days to work on it! Any ideas how to remember my test? I'm having a caller but its nice to know where your going(incase they screw up) :o Thankyoo! Natxxx

Urm... apparently mental is a very main part of remebering where to go when riding. You have to imagine you are on your horse and go through every part of the test concentrating.

I have to learn it even if my mum is reading it because she is pretty hopeless so i would say definatly learnt it off by heart anyway! good luck!!! :D

you always do good Nat the less people the better you will get placed better haha like Taz in tack & turnout haha so much competition 3 people haha youll do great she does have some bend sunny has mint bend in the opposite direction to whats its supposed to be haha so youd do better than i would plus youll do mint anyway you always do just pretend your not good you nose wll start growing if you keep lying like pinochio just practise it do you have them paper things with the instructions???? just look at that if you have 1 !!!!!:) oh oh i passed pensha n think i saw you riding today too may be wrong but it looked like fleur n someone else in the outdoor???

I just go over and over it in my head every day, but you could also trace it out of a piece on paper, or practice it in your bedroom, pretending it's the arena!

your not mad!:D i used to do a bit dressarge on skitt last year lmao!! and i am a poooop rider skittles has no fisique or garce and we must have looked like hippos dancing swan lake in clogs!!:p just keep practicing your test over and over again you'll get realy good at it and remember it too;)

when I had to learn my test I practiced on my horse and than practiced on my own. Sounds silly, but I went in my backyard, used rocks for the corners of the ring, and walked the test, saying what I was doing. It helps.

thanks for the advice everyone! i'm going over it now lol and i'll ride it tomorrow then thursday and friday eek so little time :D

Vimto- A caller is someone who reads your test out to you in the competition ;)

teabiscuit- i will do and yeah fleur is my only one lol. I was going to ask vicky's owner if i could do it on her but i rode the test on her the other day and she was soooo fast! thankfully its just at my yard so no travelling for a little while hehe. I cant wait Natxxx

haven't done it on her yet :rolleyes: havnt had the motivation or the time. *edit that* havnt had the motivation :p On the day she normally performs better, as soon as the white jods and show jacket are on, schooling whip out, she knows i mean business ;) Natxx
