When I lunge May, I like to keep a tune in head not only to keep myself from getting frustrated when she acts up, but to get her gait correct. Her trots used to be really 'out there', with her throwing her legs up like she's some sort of Saddlebred show horse. I've finally gotten her to do the right trot I want, which I did to the tune of 'What You Waiting For' by Gwen Stenfani  Now I'm more of a rock person, not a pop person, but the tune of this for a trot was great :D Especially the tick-tock, tick-tock part, which really helped me see if May's trot was right.
Well, I need song suggestions for a walk, jog, and canter. I'd prefer something that is easily remembered and something....modern :) I've heard of people using things like Nellie The Elephant for the canter. I think those are not on my list :p
And I'm wondering if anyone else uses music while lunging or even riding, and which tunes you use.

Thanks.

I actually put a CD on (ok pop) or the Gladiator sound track and ride/lunge to it, it just relaxs us more and I enjoy it :) :)

I think the best suggestion is to try all types of different music and you'll soon find one that suits your horse ans each one is different. Good Luck ;)
