Yesterday we were goining to Thorney Island Show and so we had spent all Saturady getting ready and at 4 in the morning on Sunday we all got up. Went down to the yard and set off at about 6.

About half an hour into it the lorry began to stink. My friend looked out the window and we were belowing smoke. So we pulled over (on a dual carriage way) and realised the clutch had gone  . We were absolutly unable to move.

The lorry had 6 ponies in and the trailer had 2. We called a recovery vehicle and a horse lorry company and the trailor went home. (The idea was to hitch up the other trilor and ferry the other horses back).

About 2 and a half hours later the 2 trailors came and it was decided we were going to show. So the recovery vehicle towed us into the newforest and in a veiw point we unloaded the horses into the horse transporter and the trailors.

The trailors went straight to the show and the transporter went back to the yard where 3 of the ponies were loaded into another lorry and taken to the show but 1 had to be left at home because there was not enough of space.

Once we got there the ponies were stars with one qualifying for PUK and winning champion :p . I got 4th out of 4 and the judge buit she went great and I was so happy because she wasn't lazy (quite the opposite) and she got the right leads and didn't nose poke!

Sorry it was so long :o
