Hi,
I'm not sure if there is anyone on this board is from the New York area, but I've been looking for Equine rescue/adoption agencies in the New York city, Long Island area. If anyone has any information, please let me know. Thanks! :)

Hi, you could try contacting a lady called Claire Fletcher, she runs a horse shelter called Heaven Can Wait http://members.tripod.com/~hcwequinerescu/ She is located in Ontario, Canada, but often she makes trips to pick up and drop off horses in many areas. She really does a swell job of finding homes for horses, perhaps she could help you out. Good luck.

you should probably try using a search engine on the web. it would take you about 5 minutes to find all the stuff i found by doing the exact same thing. ;)

i typed +"equine rescue" and +"New York" into AltaVista (my personal favorite search engine, but try whatever you like best), and got a bunch of hits.
