ok this is a tip for western saddles..instead of ordering an expsive sheepskin saver that is predesigned to fit the western saddle you coudl buy an ordinary sheepskin from any shop that sells them..cut a hole in it and just place on saddle with the horn through the whole...

i the owner of my horse has done this for her western saddle and it keep my rear end snuggly warm and stayed put the hwole ride!:)

hmm an english sheepskin saver....attach it to your trousers?:D

i guess you could buy a cheap sheep skin and cut it down a bit and sew on some velcro on either side so you can attach it around the stirrup leathers and also a strip of elastic or something that goes from one end to the other that helps keep it in place the other way too...?
