I have read that the reins on a double or pelham should be of two different thicknesses, one 3/4 and one 5/8, but can't for the life of me remember which way round (snaffle/curb)!
Can anyone help?

I use 5/8" laced on top, 1/2" plain spliced (no buckle in hand) on the bottom.
Found that 3/4" reins and 5/8" are too much to hold. :)

I use half inch and 3/8!
I don't like a handfull of rein.

Yep cos if you get it the wrong way around like I did last ride (shoved reins on and forgot to check  ) then you end up fiddling with your reins all ride as it is hard to manage them properly the wrong way about.
