I did it! Pictures from today!!

I can finally post pictures in this forum again!! Some people will know the story about why I don't jump my own horse anymore (health thing) and I didn't realise how much I missed it!
There was a training and small competition series thing on today at a local pony club that Kurt's owner told me about yesterday. So she took us out there today. I was so nervous about jumping a strange horse, that I was going to ask for a cigarette :o to calm my nerves. Luckily there was such a rush, and I was told to just get on with it. I really need a good firm shove to get the nerve to do some things!
Now, since I haven't jumped for 18 months, my timing is off, plus I've never jumped Kurt before, I AM NOT ASKING FOR CRITIQUE! I know my faults!
I'm posting these as proof that I'm out there again and loving it! And to show off the funny expressions I have when I jump ;) OK, so here we go. The jumps are 85cm, but I wish I'd had a crack at some bigger heights now, it was just so slippery!

Thank you. :) Forgot to say that we jumped two rounds clear. He's very different to Cheeky in that Cheeks takes pony strides and you really have to sit up and drive him into the jump. Kurt is more of a longer stride, and you can go forward into two point sooner. He also has one hell of a big jump on him! :D

Hah! Finally found the thread! ;) Took me a few days, but I've finally seen the pics :D They're great, Debs, Kurt is very handsome, and he knows it :p Glad you are back out there jumping and stuff again and having such a great time, you deserve it!

Well Done, you both look Fabby!! Who cares about position, when your having fun.... You look really serious! Lovely pictures, Kurt looks like he could do that all day!

Kurt always looks smug. Even more so than Cheeky! Perhaps when Cheeky gets to the age of 14 he'll begin to look smug too! ;)
I had a jump on the Irish redhead the other day, and he's so different to the apps. He doesn't really think for himself. He needs to be placed at the jump, whereas, Cheeks and Kurt like to sort themselves out.
Azza, I usually do look really serious when I jump. But you should see me when I do dressage! I just look really bored.:p
