uh oh! The only way i can describe how im feeling. Normally it would be fine and its a regular thing but its not on fleur, its on Vicks. Shes really good and everything but shes just so strong! especially when jumping. Friday night she was on best behaviour in the clear round but still took some of the fences HUGE. Im so scared incase i fall off :( As long as she doesnt stop i should be ok. Any tips on how to stay on a pony that jumps higher than needed? Fleur doesnt do it so im not used to it, shes got loads of power behind apparently shes jumped 1.40m  wouldnt dare.... advice please :) Natxx

well, obviously i don't know like what style you jump (cos everyone jumps differently) but if i was in your situation i'd make sure to sit deep and follow the movement of the jump, that way you should do what she does. let us know how it goes :)

If I was riding a horse who jumps bigger than neccessary and is unlikely to stop then I'd tend to ride in a defensive position which is basically cross country position as you can save yourself if a stop occurs and go with the big jumps- good luck :)
