Sparky's chestnuts on his hind legs are really small(only about 5 mm in diameter) and they don't seem to have grown at all since I first met him, which was two years ago. They are also perfectly round as opposed to the usual kidney shape. The ones on his forelegs are normal size and normal shape. They have also grown since I bought him a year ago and have had to shortened twice.
Has anybody else's horse got chestnuts like this? What does it mean? Please help me

I am most relieved, Danny has tiny weeny chestnuts on his back legs too (also about 5mm across), I wondered if it was normal, but have been so busy sorting the rest of his miss hap life out that I hadnt got round to asking on here about it :D so here is another one with diddy chestnuts and thanks for putting my mind at rest too :D

Have seen li'l round ones on ponies before. Guess it's just like fingernails - why mine are silly wide shapes and my daughter has elegant long nails - fume! not allowed in horse-keeping...

Oh, this thread is really putting my mind at ease. I've been worrying about them for ages! I suppose it means I have two less chestnuts to shorten!
Edited to inlcude: Nat, is Vicky yours or do you just ride her? Sorry, being nosy, lol!
