Either black, blue or hacking jacket it doesnt matter although black/blue is usual. Beige cream or white jods/breeches, long boots or jod boots if junior. shirt and tie although alot of people wear the riding shirts with a stock collar.
I think your horse can wear most bits - not sure on BSJA rules on bits so check if yours is acceptable, martingale is allowed and a nice numnah dont think there are major rules on horses wear but im sure someone else would know. You are allowed boots/bandages for showjumping.

I wear :-
Black showing jacket
Cream jods
Long black boots
Black hat with black velvet silk (if i can ever find it - im in a normal silk now )
Shirt
Overcollar (ties annoy me and i cant be doing with stocks)
Black leather gloves
A terrefied expression
Curly wears :-
Black bridle with flash noseband
French link snaffle
Martingale
Saddle(duh...)
Black girth
Black velvet saddlecloth with 'Curly Wurly' in gold
and when I can afford them, some black tendon and fetlock boots

When i used to jump at local level i wore-
Black jacket
White jods
Short black jodie boots
Sometimes chaps
A white shirt
lilac tie and little hole flower thing
Patch wore(btw is this how you spell wore?? )
A brown hunter bridle with a pelham
A brown leather saddle
Purple bandages
Purple numnah
And ver clean patchy fur:p
At local level i don't think they are too fused what you wear as long as it's suitable i.e not purple jods and pink jacket! At least they wern't as strict where i went.
If you are hoping to do showing i would advise a tweed or something similar as you can do showing classes and jump in them!
