ooh it's our two year anniversary tomorrow :D can't believe how quickly time went!!!
two years ago, Angel stepped off the trailer ... I was in such a panic! All 'what have I done?'. 'I hope she doesn't turn into a wild beastie tomorrow' and 'I hope she'll like me!!' :)
I remember various little hitches the first summer I had her: first time I was going to ride, I could not get the bit in for love nor money. ended up ringing the previous owner, ahem! By now, she is fine with the bit (she was before btw, she was probably just trying me out!).
Or the time she decided she did not feel like being hacked out alone (last owner rode her mainly on her own btw ...), resulting (eventually!) in a ponyclub style fisticuff with me. Again, that's all fine now :)
This little pony has given me soooo much over the past two years, laughs, excitement, lovely hacks, cuddles, confusion ... and confidence :)
She is the pony I have always dreamed of as a kid and I'm still convinced she was waiting for me all along (someone once said we're like an old married couple, hehe) and I am SO glad I found her (or shall I say, she found me?)
Unfortunately, we can't celebrate with an exciting hack as she is still poorly with her breathing but I'll make sure she'll get an extra carrot and BIG ponycuddle tomorrow, just to give her a big THANK YOU :)
(sorry I'm rambling on a bit, but I'm feeling strangely emotional :) )
