Hello
Was wondering if you could help me. Im joining the BSJA but im not sure what i have to join as. Im 17 and will be 18 in january. Can anyone help. Ive been looking on the BSJA website but i was getting comfused and wasnt sure whether i had to join as a junior or what?

If its the same as it was years ago, I think it depends on which classes you want to compete in. I think you may be in that "inbetween" age where you can choose, but you do need to decide ! (Do check, as its some years since I had anything to do with this).
As a senior, you can't (obviously) do junior classes. And I think it works the other way as well ? (i.e. I don't think a registered junior can also ride in senior classes).
So check whether the classes you want to ride in are senior or junior.

Your over 14 and on a horse, your a senior.

You'll be a assosiate member if you join this year, and then next year you'll join as a full member. You can only ride in Seniors

Junior age is 16 and under, so u will be an associate this yr, meaning an adult had to be registired at the owner until u are a ful memeber and can reregistir as the owner.
its very confusing, and the forms are awful to fill in.

no lol i was going to join but changed my mind. amber isnt the sort of horse to do BSJA so i decided to wait till i got my other horse.
