Do you live, and keep your horse in the Colchester (Essex) area?
I'm a TTEAM Practitioner in training and am looking for a few more case studies in order to gain my certificate.
There would be no charge, just a bit of your time for about an hour once or twice a week for 2/3 weeks.
I'm not looking for specific problems, I can work on your horse for just his general wellbeing.
The work might involve TTOUCH (body work in the stable) and/or TTEAM leading exercises in paddock or menage if available/or possible.
There does not have to be any riding involved at this stage, but there are riding exercises if necessary and applicable.
If interested, please leave private message and I will contact you.
Please take a look at www.tellingtonttouch.com or www.ttouchtteam.co.uk
for information.

Hi Doris, nowhere near you unfortunately otherwise I'd be there right now banging on your door :)
I don't know if you've been onto them already but I'm sure that you'd also get interested from the peeps on Enlightened Equitation (http://www.enlightenedequitation.com) and on Intelligent Horsemanship (http://www.intelligenthorsemanship.co.uk).
Good luck :)

Hi,
Thanks Bay Mare. I'm just starting off with the one thread at the moment, as I know trainees who have advertised in tack shops etc and just got swamped with people all in one go! If I don't get some replies, then I'll cast my net further.

I guess Northumberland's out then?
Shame - I'd be interested in giving it a go, especially as I am not riding now.
Edited to add: Would Cambridge be too far away? Have a friend who might be interested.

Harvey99 - yes, I'm afraid Northumberland is a bit far off for me. Also Cambridgeshire is really too far. The more local the better, as there are time constraints with fitting in with people and work. Also, it gets a bit expensive to travel long distances. Thanks for the reply anyway.

Hi Doris
I'm not exactly in Colchester, but just south of Chelmsford, about 15 mins off the A12. Is that close enough? I'd love to have you visit my horse and me.
I've PMed you.

Wish you were closer would ask you to come and take a luck at our hunter! But think the only thing he needs is massive doses of sedative!

TTEAM can act like a sedative! There are several ways of calming a horse. Maybe, if you put up a thread offering yourself and your horse as a case study for a practitioner in training, there is probably someone in your area that is looking for some more case studies. We have to do 10 studies and a minimum of 4 courses to become Practitioner, and another 5 studies plus 2 more courses at least to become a P1, so as you see, it takes time and commitment.

Sorry Honeychop, that is just a little bit too far for me to travel on a case study, but thanks for replying.
