We noticed that Cooper had a nest in his stable when we moved in around March time.
Soon to follow us was the arrival of a two birds - swifts, swallows, housemartins not sure, they all look the same to me.
Now, Cooper has two more roomies.............................

Aww look at the little heads... Baby birs are so ugly, they're cute.
We have birds in our stable as well. Sometimes they poo on Misty or on the saddle.
Misty also shares her stable with rats! I have never actually seen them, but I can see the tunnels they make in her straw.

Yay, we've got little visitors, too- martins, or swallows. Don't know which, have to ask Bill Oddie! Their nest is in the stable next to HQ, and the parent birds whizz through above our ears! Thought they were bats at first:eek:
It's SO great to see the lovely wild flowers, top. Poppies, daisies, mallow, all sorts, like a birthday card it is! Also love to ride along with the larks singing way above; it's like heaven,
Can you tell I've had a few? England just lost, so commiserating with OH, but I feel great! Don't let on:D

Had a lovely chill out session this afternoon, was feeling a wee bit sorry for myself, the depression is looming again , I can feel it , but went to sit in the hay meadow for half an hour, birdies singing, no traffic, just me and endless blue sky, was better than any anti depressant tablets! All those lovely meadow flowers, poppies, clover, buttercups, no wonder our horses all put weight on in winter with this hay they get off this meadow!

On the wildlife theme, a SQUASHED, HUGE, BLACK and SHINY BEETLE fell out of my boot tonight after getting back from yard to check hot horsey:eek:
Yep, Dee, posted twice, silly meee:o hic
And no, didn't drive to yard!
Think you should keep the flags
Crinks- sorry you're feeling blue, know what that's like. Glad a stint of chilling out with Nature helped. :)
