Hi!!

I am currently at college studying for my A-Levels and hope to go to university to get a degree in animal behaviour in September.

I am very interested in a career in animal behaviour (preferably with horses!) but don't really know what the different options are or how to get into them. Does anyone in here have, or are planning to have, a career in animal/equine behaviour and can give me some ideas?? Thanks!!!!

I spotted a web site which is based down in your direction - not that close. Company of Horses. companyofhorses.com i think it was.
They seem to have got into various methods and chosen to put forward a mixture of all of them.
I think they have gone the Monty Roberts route and like so many people now, have discarded it and possibly also gone the Parelli route and clicker and all sorts.
They seem to be quite an interesting and enlightened group to me, just picking the bits from each method and using what works in their opinion - maybe contact them and ask them what they think - or what options there are.

If you get any good information in your research on this equine behaviour quest, do let us all know.
