it keeps telling me that the image is not valid :confused:
it's been resized to 50 x 38 pixels
what do i do next folks?

The image needs to be a jpg. or a gif.(animated) image file,when you save your pic after resizing it,make sure you go to "save as" and then save it as jpg. some programmes save images under different files that are'nt valid to upload as avatars.
