Plaiting

I am doing my first dressage test in a couple of weeks. It is a Prelim test at a local riding club combined training event. Should I plait my horse for this? I have had a quick look on the internet for info but there seems to be conficting views.

If it is riding club unless they have stated that all horses should be plaited then I think it is personal opinion, I myself would always plait for dressage just because I can make my horses topline look better with plaits. I'd check with organisers of the show just to be safe.

its personal choice, some people do some dont but you wont look out of place whichever you choose.

Thanks. I think I'll ask around and see of anyone at the yard has been to this show before and then I'll decide. I am tempted to plait anyway though as it does look so much smarter.
