What a georgous horse!

Somebody should make a calendar of farriers, just showing their backsides! That's all we ever see of them!

Isn't it great that our horses get manicures and new shoes every month or two and we're walking around in the same old boots for a two years and our nails are mangled and full of horse poop?

Thanks for all your nice comments about my girly! She does have a strangely knowing look about her for a baby horse- a BIG fat baby horse, as W'jit will see for herself... yes, folks, W'jit's on her way in a couple of weeks to our little bit of Surrey! Hooray!! :) :)

Farriers, now. Sometimes I wish were a bit younger, as the boy farriers are cheeky and fun; the old ones too gruff and wizened- like me:D

Cant complain about the age, looks or bottom of my 24 yr old tanned farrier. ;) Oh and he does a excellant shoe and trim. :D

Aww your girl is beautiful LD. I think that is the first pics I have seen other than when you first got her, she is looking so well and happy, what a lovely soft expression she has now :)

Thanks much Clare-22 for your comment about her happy look; I think she has def. become softer and more content(it's the grass!)_ But, no, we HAVE got a little bond happening, which I'm enjoying soooo much:)

I'll do an update soon, Chickflick; Haven't done one for ages as I tend to think it would be a bit dull for everyone, since we are going so slowly with everything!

N'Nic- just you wait- it's weird when your kids are older- it's TRUE- the policemen DO seem to look younger, and as for doctors (and our young vet....gulp... swoon....:D
