Horse Treat Recipes!!!!!!

i love making my horse cookies, anyone have recipes??? One that's really easy is that if you dip a carrot in molasses, and cover it with oats or grain or bran or CRUSHED PEPPERMINTS!! its so simple but they love it.

something that is not so good for horses is flour, but they can have it in moderation .

I love baking for my horsies! I've tried quite a few things that they eat but arn't crazy about so I'll try your carrot idea cos it sounds good :p . Do you know why flour is bad for them?

not really....... but horses have super-sensitive stomachs.

have to say that I wouldn't give my horse anything that's dripping in molasses, I try to avoid anything with that in it, a good old carrot is good enough for most horses:D
