I don't know personally but have you tried asking your vet, or just ringing and asking the people in the practice. I know if it was in my area I'd be able to reccommend a few people to talk to, and my staff would know all about what goes on in the horse world around here. I take it you've tried ringing your local riding school.

I''m afraid this is a common dilemma for most pony riding adults (and there are a lot of us).
It may be worth finding out if there is a local riding club in your area. All British riding clubs have unaffiliated and affiliated events. They allow adults to compete on ponies regardless of age, height, etc. The courses at novice level are simple and not frightening. They start at very small heights 1'9" or 2'0" and go up to open level which are 3'0" upwards.
I have a pony and we compete at all riding activities. It depends on how far away the shows are for you to get to. I'm lucky in that a lot of the show grounds are near to my yard and I can hack to them. I don't own a horsebox or trailer.
Unfortunately, affiliating professionally, especially showjumping, is a no go I'm afraid. You can't showjump a pony unless you're under 16. Ridiculous but true.
Good luck.
