signatures - selling things?

I've noticed people put comments in their signatures when they have items for sale - is this allowed? It's just another forum I go on you are not allowed to do this and I have some jodhs and boots which I would like to sell so if it is I'll put them in my signature as well as in the classifieds.

Yes, if you keep it subtle - ie no large coloured fonts.

Or you could advertise in the classifieds but word your signature to tell people to look there?

No - it's strange I put them in the wardrobe and they just shrink - I think there is some kind of mean elf in there who makes it happen - it's not just jods but dresses too:D

happens with my jeans as well;) i blame brussells im sure they are messing around with the sizes, cos what was 32 is now 34:D :D :D
