Aww! It'll fly by!;)
Congratulations but do think this through thoroughley because like if you go to college and uni and stuff, this can be a complicated procedure for both rider/owner and horse.

How do you think i felt...when i was 8 my mum said to me i could have my own pony when i was 14...well that was a long wait .
At least you know you will get one, some kids have to go through their teens knowing they'll never be allowed a horse :(
Bet you're excited though :D

Yay thats great :D hehe I remember my Mum said that to me when I was about 10 to shut me up one day and Ive held it against her ever since!! :p
Luckily I have proved myself to be serious about having a horse and was allowed one on loan when I was 14 after having to borrow other peoples horses all the time hehe!
Don't worry the years will fly by! :D

Thats so exciting!! But the time will fly by.
My parents said - you can have a horse after you graduate college and can afford to take care of it!
So here I am, after 7 years of college (BA and JD (law school)) taking the CA Bar exam next Tuesday. I better pass, because I'm tired of waiting for my horse!!
If I get one before I'm 27 (I'm 25 now) I'll be happy. Right now I'm happy just playing with my riding school horses.

congratulations!
My mum said to me when I was 12 that she would consider buying me a pony when I was 16 if I was still as keen as I'd be more responisble then...
think she knew something I didnt as by 16 I'd stopped riding! lol!
Still I got there in the end!
