They are quite small but it looks like you got quite close in a few of them - too fast perhaps? Can't really see much of you in them! :) The 4th side shot looks good, was that just a single fence? Or was it part of a combination?

Rips. Im sorry their so small! :( he wasnt going particuly fast. he does speed uparound the course tho. i really need to work on that! the side shot i believe is a single fence. i have a dvd of me, which ide love to show you but i dont know how to get it on the computer! Thanks Rips:)

well, I went and looked at the link ... and what's all this about you hating flat-work ??? Have you SEEN that pic of you two trotting between jumps on that SJ course ???? You totally rock at flatwork, so go and enjoy it :D

the only thing i would say is you look quit tense in some of them, and you get quite close to few of them. My old horse used to like putting little ones in if i was nervous, but ive just learnt that i need to ride the canter confidently and forward and he will do the jump, then i could relax and have fun.

Kate = Lol thanks, ye he is really good at it but i just hate it, it really bores me!

Jenren = Thanks :)

Equine Student = yes i did go through a nervous nellie stage! And yes he does seem to get quite close to fences, which sometimes results in 4 faults. Thankyou for your pointer on a beter, more confident canter:)

WillieLover = Thank you:):)

Wow :eek: that trotting pic - you two look super!

Some of the jumps you both look very good, others he is too close and you both fell apart :o Can't tell from pictures really but this suggests to me that your approach possibly needs to be more accurate - is it a bit 'hit and miss' when you jump a course? I went through an awful phase of that!!
He's a little untidy with his front legs in some, grid work might tighten him up a bit :)

I feel like I've been harsh because you two look great overall :) Nice photos.

Thanks Rips, no not to harshi really appreciate your comments.

Thankyou, lol he could be an amazing lil dressage horse with the right rider:)

yes he did getclose some he was just really not comitted going inot them and was having a look. but i agreee it wasprob mostly my line im really bad!

Completly agree about the front legs, when i firstgot him he had been hunted so dint need to pickhimself up as the jumps didnt come down, so he can be a little messy. But as you suggested i do as much grid work as i can:):)

Thankyou alot for you coments! :D:D:D

Maybe work on your rhythm when your jumping.. means the stride length of your canter won't change coming into the jump giving you and your pony an easier job of seeing a stride?

I LOVE twelsedown btw... tis ace there!
