I was just wondering why we don't have 'types of members' like other boards for example in relation to the number of posts you have posted.
You could be awarded stars or something......mmmmm just a thought:rolleyes:
Also whilst I am here why are some people members and others regsitered uses?

The problem with having member types or titles awarded according to how many posts you make is that some members do then post anything they can just to get their post count up; we felt here that it's quality that counts not quantity! Especially since there are some valued and long-standing members who don't post much, but do have some valuable advice or interesting things to say when they do.
I have no idea what the difference between members and registered users is though!

Oh yes, you see it on other boards (and sometimes, rarely thankfully, on here). They are desperate to get an extra 'star' or 'x' number of posts and put up all kinds of drivel just to say that they've posted 'x' number of times
