2 things I could not do without.
baby Wipes:
Use to pick up dust and scruff from horses coat while leaving a lovely shine
Use to wipe off boots
Use to clean riding boots for competitions
use to wipe over tack at shows between classes
great for removing scruff/dust/little hairs from a freshly clipped horse

baby oil
apply to tail & brush through with a body brush
rub through hands and after you have groomed your horse apply sparingly to shoulders, quarters and muzzle - great for shows. If you 'strap ' the horse with it is great too
use the aloe vera version on mud rash it gets rid of it my vet was amazed at how well it works.
Use the aloe vera one in the winter to protect the legs from mud rash it is great stuff
Apply to freshly washed horses legs night before a show - dirt sticks to teh baby oil not to the legs and can be brushed off.

Mr sheen can also be used instead of tail conditioner I know so many people who use it -so much cheaper

also horsemans formula is great for cleaning tack - none of this 2 step nonsense its designed to be one step and it works!! had my saddle in with berneys recently and they said its in great nick for a second hand one

ooh, don't mention furniture polish!! been several heated threads on here about why not to use it!! ;) agree that baby wipes are invaluable. we buy them in bulk, much cheaper and means we rarely run out.

we buy lots of baby wipes for all those reasons :D:D
If you put baby oil onthe muzzle.......should you avoid it in this heat ? (thats what i have been doing) in case it justs cooks them ? :S

I wouldn't use baby oil on their muzzles everday personally in this weather, but then we are using suncream on everything at the moment!

I love baby wipes! There are just so many uses to them, especially at shows!

Mr Sheen's ok for a final polish on boots. Wouldn't use it on tails though as you can end up with silicone burns and a frazzled tail (my friend is a trichologist).

Suncream on muzzles, baby oil can make them burn.

Baby wipes are great for almost everything :)

I must admit that now I can make my own mane and tail conditioner I'll be using it in the winter to keep tails and feathers mud free:D

I found some tea tree conditioner that I now use to make my mane and tail spray and also add some lavender oil it smells yummy:D
