Hello all, My horse has a long and messy tail. I bought one of those tail wraps with three tubes. Problem is he lost it after a few hours (knots still tied at top and bottom and braid intact - go figure..I'm just happy the tail wasn't in it). What is the secret with these things? I clean the tail and put Cowboy Magic conditioner in before sticking it into the tubes. Should you braid really hard or what? Thanks!

Theres no real trick to braiding the tail. Just braid the tail tightly before you go in the competition ring

Thanks, however it's not that kind of brainding. I want to put it in one of those 3-tube things when he is in pasture. Do you braid tightly or loosely? T

I braid tightly. Its the only way to ensure your braid stays in.
