I am looking for a western trainer in the North East of England area, my American Paint horse has gone off for training but I need some western lessons, preferably before she comes back as I have always ridden English. If you can help please let me know

I know a guy in Leeds he is the Cahirman of http://www.wha-of-gb.org.uk, there is also another chap Shaun, but i can't remember his sir name or business name, could find out if you wanted. I would place a call to the AQHA as they would be able to recomend someone too. http://www.aqha.uk.com

Thanks I've looked through the lists and can't find anyone in Northumberland, Durham or Tyne & Wear, which are the areas I could realistically travel to.

Hi Paintbarn,
Sorry, no recommendations - I live in South Wales - but more importantly, let's see a photo of your horse!:D
I have a Paint x Arab (Sonny Steele breeding), and think there should be more of them around:p

It wasn't shaun, its Shane Borland, if my memory serves me correctly he is based in Stockton on tees.
Could you not have lessons where your horse is in training, thats probably the best bet.

http://painthorsesontheweb.bravehost.comI'll have a go at attaching a photo to this post, if it doesn't work you can see her on my website http://painthorsesontheweb.bravehost.com
I quite agree there should be more of them about!
Thanks Jessey, the name seems familiar, Stockton is a bit nearer. I agree it would be nice to have training where my horse is but that's in Derbyshire.

Montana, when you look at the site, why don't you put a photo of your horse on there and let people see what nice crosses paints can produce!
