I know there certainly are no long reining competitions in Calgary. :( No clinics. :( I think it is mostly seen as a training tool for young horses.

I was just wondering there are any long reining competitions in the UK or anywhere else? Seems a shame if not, as an official outlet to put one's skills to the test would be great.

not sure if there is, i have not heard of any.
i know jennie loriston-clarke used to give demo's, (not sure if she still does) but if you can get hold of a video of her long-reining, it's quite amazing:D :D

Hmmm, I'd like to see that video.

Shows you just how seriously I am taking the long reining - now I want to compete! :D How crazy is this?! I think I am a bit obsessed with this long reining thing. :o
