Please help!

In my town, we have an annual horse show. It is just for fun, anyone can enter. I always enter. It is a western show. My horse is just english. So i use a friend's horse. Although, my friend's horse is being riden by her in the classes I want to do. She does have two horses. The other horse is crazy, and the first time I can ride her is at the show. I really do want to enter, soI I am going to do it. Any advice on not making a fool of myself, and doing well in my classes on a horse I have never ridden! Please respond quickly!

How early can your friend get there with this horse? I'd try the horse before the class starts just to get a feel. Just remember to sit tall & eyes up!

Personally .. I wouldn't ride a horse for the first time at a show, unless it was necessary. I'd seriously ask your mate if you could try and ride the horse a few times before the show - even if its just in walk/trot.
