Last nights lesson was the last Monday night hack until next summer, it will now be too dark.

I was on Daisy (http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f192/raingodz/cowley/daisy3.jpg). It was dry, but the had been quite a bit of rain recently and Daisy was slipping on the tarmac quite alot (never had that problem with her before).

Saturdays lesson I was on Rhyme, who was feeling a bit slow. When I went to tack her up she was flat out and did not care too much for the idea of being my noble steed for the next hour

We did some jumping and I initialy failed to get her going forward and so she refused a jump and then very slowly and carefuly stepped accross it with out touching it. This made the rest of my group chortol alot.

So nothing that exciting to report this week but two not bad lessons :)

My next lesson will be the last for 2 weeks because all the horses will then go away for their summer holidays while their stables get repainted and such like. Don't know what I'll do for two weeks though... maybe I'll book another Western lesson.

oh sounds fun! ive been on a horse that kept slipping down a steep tarmac road and eventually we crashed into another horse  because his shoes were very worn and it was very rainy.

Have you tried contacting your local WES rep, I'm guessing you are in area 6 so you could try e-mailing Brenda Brimson brenda@bditch.freeserve.co.uk
